"Nice apartment, nice terrace overlooking the pool and with partial sea view. The ceiling fans were very good and enough to keep the apartmrent cool and we did not need the aircon. The owner had been very friendly and responsive. Just a few meters walk to a long stretch of beach with few people around. Free use of beach chairs and sunshades"

Air conditioning did not work in the living room but was not a problem because we did not need it. The only problem was after we checked out when we received a message from the owner saying that we had forced open a closet and damaged some beach towels. I have explained the owner how things really went and I believe that it was fiundamentally a misunderstanding and the problem was likely caused by the people in charge of the cleaning/maintenance of the apartment or some previous guests, since the owner lives in Europe. To be fair the owner did not ask us to pay anything it was just her complaining about us having done something that we did not do.

Y lo que más me agrado es que se puede usar el gimnasio del edificio. El apartamento esta muy cerca del aeropuerto, haciendo facil la llegada. Por la mañana no hay tráfico, además de que son puntuales para traer el transporte que me llevó al aeropuerto, por lo que llegué en el tiempo esperado, sin mencionar que tienen desayuno incluído, fueron tan amables de ponermelo para llevar ya que quería desayunar luego."

"Τι να πρώτο πω για το δωμάτιο, ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μου και έχω μείνει σε πάρα πολλά νοικιαζομενα. Δεν του έλειπε τίποτα από κουζινκκα σκεύη, το μπάνιο ευρύχωρο και με θερμενομενα πλακάκια, το καλοριφέρ έκαιγε συνεχώς και γενικά δεν κρυώσαμε ούτε ένα λεπτό. Άνετα θα ήθελα να ήταν το σπίτι μου όπως ακριβώς αυτό το δωμάτιο. Βέβαια δεν είναι σαν την προτεινόμενη Φωτογραφία αλλά δεν μας πείραξε. Είναι στο κέντρο της πόλης με 5 λεπτά απόσταση από την σταση του λεωφορείου που σε πάει στο αεροδρόμιο και αρκετά σουπερμάρκετ κοντά σου."

Δεν υπάρχει κάτι. Ίσως να αφηνανε πιο πολλά φακελάκια του τσάι γιατί ήταν τέλειο

"We loved the view from our eco friendly and very well appointed self contained place - we could see the sea and were surrounded by trees, flowering plants and birds. We liked being a short walk downhill to the village of Castara with grocery shops, places to eat local food and entertainment. Bars on the beach were very friendly. We loved getting a boat to nearby coves and snorkelling. Paradise for us!"

The fairly stiff walk back from the village is fine as long as you don't rush. The Castara Retreats Restaurant serves lovely fresh fish caught locally but wine as you might expect is eye wateringly expensive. Try Stag beer instead and even that is twice as expensive as in the village.

It would have been nice to have a bit more information about how you hire bikes and use the laundry (both had a charge) provided in the folder in the flat, but Edi was very good at replying to our questions.

"If peaceful, quiet, restful, economic and simple are your plans for Aruba, this place is for you. More "cottage like" our roomy 2 bedroom offered all the basics we needed. The pool is lovely, cleaned daily. The property offers privacy between apartments with plenty of seating. Ground floors are convenient! A car is a must for beaches and large shopping which is always 30 minutes away whichever direction. Walkable to fast-food and various stores. Location is industrial/low residential however, no negative issues encountered whatsoever 👍. Very safe. The gentleman who manages is absolutely wonderful. He attends to every need, request, and or something to fix. The place is old but looked after. His name is Harley; he's a kind and caring person. This complex is ideal for long term stays. Laundry on site."

On my last sleep of the week I was disturbed by the above resident, moving furniture and banging in the early hours of my departure day. Also just before 3am, being woken up by my TV having it on a different channel to what I had when I turned it off before going to bed believing someone had trespassed into the property and the thought of my belongings being stolen.

Only the lack of a lift as to get so high it is a little bit difficult.

"The house is spacious and very clean, with everything you need provided. The location is great close to Nanae Snowpark and Onuma National Park. It’s peaceful, surrounded by snow, and truly magical. The host, Kaiki, is very friendly and kind. I hope to come back again someday."

Le prix un petit peu élevé, des travaux de rafraîchissement sont à prevoir. La piscine partagée avec d'autres locataires moins agréable : On a eu des ados pas très discrets.

"The location was very convenient. I really love the ocean view and especially hearing the ocean splashes everyday during my stay, it was really breathtaking, relaxation and good service. Also the food at the restaurant below my room had very delicious food, also from the balcony of the restaurant I enjoyed the ocean view and beautiful sunsets. I'm in love with this island especially in Westpunt!"

I do not really have any complaints about anything, because all of my wishes have been granted during my stay. So I have nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work and service! Everything was just perfect!
