"Lovely small hotel in a 16th century house a short walk from the historic centre and all the main sights. Our room had lots of character with a beamed ceiling and magnificent fireplace. The bed was comfortable. There was a good cold breakfast buffet, with eggs cooked to order. The breakfast room over looks a pretty garden. Staff were friendly."
"Be aware that because of the nature of the property there is no lift and the stairs are steep. To be fair, we were warned of this and were able to request a room on the first floor. There was no shower as such - just a shower attachment on the bath."

Perfect place to stay, but the best part is the breakfast room - I loved the ancient spirit with historical decorations and the small garden outside. Breakfast delicious with enough variety. "The bathroom had a bath with a hand held shower attachment. There was no shower curtain or hook on the wall to hang the shower attachment. This made it awkward to have a shower and wash my hair. Apart from that teh facilities were all good."
