"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"The way they treated me is out of my expectations. They understood my situation of flights cancellation, modification and of course my financial changes. Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

The owner along with all of the employees are absolutely lovely. You truly feel at home with a lovely family like atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and have exactly what you need. Enjoyed having Netflix on the TV along with Aircondition in the room. Breakfast was delicious with great additional options you pay a cheap price for. Location is the best in Roseau, next to a car rental, walkable distance to everything (Ferry terminal, Markets, Restaurants/bars, Local busses to Portsmouth or Trafalgar). Cannot recommend this place and the employees enough. One of the many gems in Dominica! Thanks to the team once again 🙏"

There was a group that arrived without booking and there was not enough food, so the host had to go shopping and the dinner was late. There was enough food for everyone but not much variety for warm dishes, comparing with other guesthouses on the trail. The guesthouse is located off the main trail and the trail is a bit tricky.
