"Easy to reach from Ljubljana, yet outside in nature fir those preferring to detach from the city at least for a bit. Comfortably arranged room, with AC. And what was most important for us - also four legged family members accepted with a smile! We absolutely LOVED the individual garden entrance we had to our room, perfect for travelers like us - with kids & dogs. In other reviews people were complaining about the train. While train tracks indeed are behind the building, in the two days spent we did not hear any train… perhaps we slept so well or simply the line is not busy at all. I think we will come back 🙂"

"Μου αρεσε που ειμασταν λιγο πιο εξω απο τη βρωμια και τη φασαρια του Bavaro. Το κεντρο του Bavaro ειναι απαισιο με ασχημο κοσμο, δεν το προτεινω σε κανεναν και σιγουρα χρειαζεσαι αμαξι και να ξερεις να οδηγεις καλα γιατι ολοι οδηγανε οπως θελουν, καμια οδικη παιδεια. Διασκεδαση δεν υπαρχει οπως λενε οποτε μην ψαχνετε απεγνωσμενα να μεινετε κεντρο,διπλα στη παραλια Bavaro. Η παραλια Bavaro εχει τοσο κοσμο που χαλαει η ομορφια της, ενω η παραλια macao ειναι ονειρο. Στις 10μερες να πηγαμε στο κεντρο 2φορες. Ηταν τρομερα αγχωτικα και οι δρομοι γεματοι. Οι τουριστες πρεπει να ταν ολοι κλεισμενοι μεσα στα all inclusive ξενοδοχεια. Ηρεμη και ασφαλης τοποθεσια. Εμπαινες μεσα και ηρεμουσες. Ο οικοδεσποτης ειναι ενας,πολυ ευγενικος-συμπαθητικος Κύριος. Ηταν λες και πηγαινες στον παππου σου για διακοπες το καλοκαιρι. Εντελως οικογενειακο κλιμα. Για εμας που πηγαιναμε μονο για εναν υπνο, ηταν ό,τι επρεπε. Ενα καθαρο, οικονομικο καταλυμα. Ότι δίνεις, παίρνεις σε αυτη τη περιπτωση."

Το air condition αναβε για 2λεπτα και ξανα εσβηνε αλλα δεν ειπαμε τιποτα γιατι ο ανεμιστηρας την εκανε την δουλεια του. Το στρωμα μας φανηκε σκληρο και το πρωινο ειχε μονο 3επιλογες, 10μερες τρωγαμε τo ιδιο(θα κανω καιρο να ξανα φαω τοστ, γιαουρτι και ομελετα). Επισης ο καφες ηταν τρομερα δυνατος και αγευστος. Σε αυτη τη περιπτωση και ισως επειδη εχω συνηθισει τα μεγαλα ξενοδοχεια μου ελειψε ο μπουφες να μπορω εγω να επιλεξω τι θα βαλω στο πιατο μου και ας ειχε 5επιλογες..Για παραδειγμα ενω δεν ηθελα πρωινο κατεβαινα για να φαω τα φρουτα π εβαζαν γιατι ηταν νοστιμα. Μας ελειψαν καποιες μερες τα all inclusive Hotels αλλα οι τιμες ηταν απλησιαστες και τα σχολια απαγορευτικα. Εδω καταλαβαμε γιατι ολοι εδιναν 10. Ηξερες ακριβως οτι θα παρεις ό,τι διαβασες.

"The evening meal provided at a very reasonable cost was one of the best I've had in a b&b. All organic salad and vegetables and that was also true of the wonderful breakfasts that are included in the room price. The location was spectacular, amazing views over the valleys below."

There really wasn't anything to dislike as far as I was concerned.

A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

"Quiet peaceful cottage in the heart of the city - well connected by metro and bus routes and easily reachable by cab or auto. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I was traveling solo on a leisure visit and I felt very comfortable and safe throughout. They have a good breakfast spread. The property is very green and cosy."

Shared kitchen, laundry and lounge were ideal, well equipped kitchen with double dishwasher and large fridge capacity. It ran very smoothly but entirely without seeing staff. Wanaka was wonderful and Springs Lodge lived up to its location"

Not much! Second drawer of dishwasher, handle was broken Sitting areas for each room open onto shared area, so some might feel a lack of privacy, and each one has 2 chairs and a table, but only one cushion (ok not a problem but a bit odd).

"Basically evertyhing. I was traveling alone in off-season. I've been there alone so I got the whole house for myself. The breakfast served in full with many options like the place was full, that was amazing."

Staying only one night

"Nice spot on the edge of town, with a great view from my private balcony. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. The proprietor was kind and helped me several times with questions and requests."

The room was very simple and the mattress was hard as a rock, but overall not bad at all.

"We got our room on the ground floor with a nice garden view. There are chairs in front of the room that we can use to enjoy afternoon sun and the garden. Good breakfast, sufficient choices, fresh and tasty. About 10 minutes drive to the nearby beaches, supermarket"

"Cleanliness, facilities (fully equipped kitchen, common areas, outdoor space, hand laundry and drying facilities, bikes for free, also SUP, parking for rented car, good strong hot shower and many bathrooms/wc), equipment, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, very good location (supermarkets, Main Street, Friday night market and park, museum and Long Beach all at walking/bike distance), good AC both in the room and in the living room. Excellent communication with the owner/manager Jee before, during and after the stay, very responsive, extremely helpful (day trips, recommendations, plugins adaptors, etc) and friendly. Very quiet. We stayed for 8 nights but we have stayed much longer, ideal for long stays and probably the best quality/price ratio in Koror. I really recommend! (And contrary to other reviews, indeed there are a few dogs in the neighbourhood but they don’t cause any problem)"

"1) Perfect location for those who want to explore the island, stay away from the tourist hot spot and experience “real” Aruba. 2) The house is very atmospheric and cozy, with lots of wooden furniture, an old wooden staircase that creaks charmingly, and a balcony from where you can observe iguanas on a large ficus tree just a few meters away. 3) Ingrid is an amazing host and a lovely person. She gave us great travel advice and was there when needed, without being intrusive. 4) Breakfast was just amazing!"

No hot water didn’t come as a surprise since we had read the reviews. Even though it’s common in Aruba, it’s worth mentioning.

"The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful, the garden is beautiful, the bungalows are nice. The location is good, neighborhood is silent, but it is a bit away from the busy areas and restaurants, so you need a car (but you need a car on Mahe anyway, so that is ok). There is a tiny, silent beach in 2 mins walk. If you prefer kind, local guesthouse owners and hospitality over luxury hotels, this is your place."

The beds are a bit firm.

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

"We stayed 2 weeks at Finca Sagrada and we had a fantastic time. The owners and the stuff are all very lovely. The Bungalow was clean and had an amazing few on both Vulcanos. They fixed the street up to their place and it is easy acssesable now. Also they offer very nice homegrew/brew coffee. If u like animals, wide views and fresh mountain air we totally recommend their place. Thank you guys again for everything :)"

"Located five minutes from the Jesuit ruins, the Posada Maria is a good base for exploring the region. The hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great to cool off on the warm summer days and the breakfast is amazing, a true continental one with delicious bread (hard to come by in South America) and a good variation of products. We had dinner here as well, which was super good as well. German kitchen, but refreshing after our month travelling around! Staff is very kind and friendly and can give tips and advice! When the rain started dripping through the roof into our room, we immediately got another one. Very smooth!"

"The place is nicely decorated, very tidy and in a quiet safe area but little far from the sea. For people which like waliking like me is ok. Also can rent bike for free. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok and you could also order some food for lunch at a good price. Manja is an excellent cook and prepares local specialties. Internet was mostly ok. The pool was clean and a very relaxing place to spend time."

Sometimes a problem with taxis. Some of them don't know this place. You have to negotiate the price which can be very diffrent. (from 100 to 500 dalasies).

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.
