"Excellent location, clean and modern facilities, comfortable beds, hot shower with good pressure. Host allowed us to check in early which was appreciated."
"This is a well appointed gite in an excellent location. Belinda and Hamish couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Massignac is a small village but has everything for your immediate needs. A friendly little epicerie, fabulous boulangerie, cafe, post office and a restaurant are all only a couple of minutes walk away. You won’t be able to be there more than a couple of days before making new friends. Wider afield you have a couple of Intermarches, a Super U and a LeClerc a short drive away. Massignac is around halfway between Angouleme and Limoges so both are easy to reach. There are a couple of nice walks from the gite. One is around the lake, another, short walk goes to the local Michelin starred Restaurant “Domaine des Etang”. The walk is free, the restaurant is definitely not…. Gite du Jardin is the only place we’ll stay if we’re anywhere near the area."

"A wonderful stay with genuinely lovely hosts, who made us and our two dogs so welcome. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, with home made jams, fresh pastries and bread, yoghurt and fruit. It was lovely to share an hour sitting around the table with the hosts and two other guests, sharing stories. Yoëlle, Otis had a wonderful time playing in the garden with you! Thank you both so much."

"J'ai aimé l'emplacement et la vue depuis la terrasse. Proche des lieux d'intérêts et des commodités. Tout peux se faire à pieds ou par le petit train touristique. Strict nécessaire pour cuisiner. Le linge de maison et le gel douche sont fournis. Très calme la nuit malgré la proximité de la route. Propriétaire disponible et réactif. Je recommande."
