"We had a very friendly welcome from Mike. The art work, curios and books in the main reception room were fascinating and coupled with an open log fire on a cold wet evening created a very welcoming space. The dinner was superb, flavoursome ,interesting and locally sourced."
"Unfortunately the immersion heater tripped out and we didn’t have any hot water for showers in the morning."
"It was a very unusual property located in the middle of the French countryside quite difficult to find. The host was excellent and could not do more for us. Evening meal was very tasty and made just for us, however it was quite an expensive addition to our stay at £105Eur. for two, but very pleasantly served by a very attentive waitress service. The grounds were excellent for our dog with plenty of space for walking."

"Demeure du XVI ème pleine de charme dans un écrin de verdure calme et ressourçant où l'on peut admirer des chevaux, une ancienne forge et une chapelle du XI ème siècle, dépaysement garanti. Le petit-déjeuner est très complet, servi dans la salle à manger joliment décorée avec feu de cheminée. La propriétaire est très accueillante et aime partager son manoir et son histoire. "A very spacious gite in an idyllic location. Big kitchen which was great for a big family. The gite is near lots of attractions and the nearby town is lovely, with great restaurants. We had a private pool with a stunning view. The hosts were lovely, a hard-working family! We cannot wait to go back. There was a cupboard with games which the kids loved, what a nice surprise. TV worked well."
