"Everything. We had really enjoyed staying one night the previous year and so were pleased to book two nights this year. We had an even better and lovely room, marvellous breakfast and again great welcome and care by the charming owner. Melle is an interesting town so we had a great time again."

"nice large room and superb breakfast! no TV, no air condition, but both are not needed. Beautifully restored old town house and windows on two sides of the room permitted comfortable temperatures throughout day and night. Use of nice spacious living room and garden is also included. Cecile is a perfect host!"

"This was our second stay at Villa Mitsou and we enjoyed our stay there just as much as the first time. We were made to feel very welcome. Grand room with very comfortable bed in old town house minutes away from the centre of the town. Fabulous breakfast with homemade apricot cake and jam."

"Villa Mitsou certainly had the 'wow' factor. Hidden behind the green wrought iron front gate was an amazing period property complete with decor to match. We stayed in room 1 which was adorned with classic furniture, fireplace, exposed varnished floorboards, and almost full height shuttered windows overlooking a lovely enclosed flower garden. We had our own walk-in private bathroom, amazing! Breakfast was served by our host Cecile who had taken the time to bake a lovely cake to accompany the traditional French breakfast, and you guessed it, magnificent food 😋. Would we recommend it, without doubt the best accommodation of our week-long motorcycle tour around the French northwestern regions."

"A wonderfully peaceful villa with exquisite decor and spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, beautifully presented. The breakfast room is equally delightful, as is the garden. The bed was comfortable with linen of high quality and the shower was excellent. Parking is nearby and the breakfast on offer was copious and delicious. The welcoming owner, Cecile, has thought of everything. I could have stayed a lot longer here. Very highly recommended."

The hostel itself has great bike storage (a whole separate room), and the facilities are fantastic. The hostel itself has a very sociable design so great for all travellers."

"TOUT , l’emplacement proche de tous les restos , magasins , la promenade maritime, la plage en direct , la vue superbe au 4eme étage avec le lever du soleil chaque matin depuis la terrasse couverte et fermée de grandes baies vitrées. La déco est parfaite , tout est à sa place , de belle qualité. Les équipements également, une plancha électrique...ne manque qu’un grille pain .. À disposition, une box FREE et un grand écran télé, exceptionnel . La place de parking attitrée dans la résidence sécurisée est un énorme PLUS . L’accueil parfait du gardien et la propreté de la résidence contribuent au plaisir de tout le séjour. Nous avons adoré ce séjour. À REFAIRE."

"The location was great, right next to a supermarket and loads of cafes. Only a 10 to 15 min stroll to the harbour and 5 mins to Place De Verdun to get the airport bus. Thierry was very helpful and answered any questions we had. Apartment spacious, charming,,nicely decorated, lots of character. Nicely situated in one of the arcaded streets, lovely balcony Fab metal roller blinds to keep out the light."
