"The experience here is once in a lifetime. It is so incredible to sit back and watch the elephants and other animals as though you’re not even there. The accomodation makes you feel like a real life Tarzan and Jane. The staff are very helpful and so kind. We had in house meals and there were amazing! The staff come and drop them off or prepare them right there in the house for you. It’s very private with no other house within earshot or sight and because it’s so peaceful you can hear the staff arriving in their cars a few minutes before they actually do. (The staff preset times with you to come by the house, ie: lunch at 12, and the only time we had an unannounced visitor was when the power went out). The sitting areas and beds are very comfortable with nice linen. The wifi is amazing."

The accomodation is very exposed to the elements with no air conditioning/heating and lots of bugs, spiders and small animals like squirrels and adorable mice type creatures present in your house. We loved this aspect but for some it could be a bit much.

"La Cabaña de Huerta Mar es un ambiente acogedor que brinda calidez y calma. Los anfitriones son personas muy amables y atentas a cualquier necesidad. Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. "Great place. The flat is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Two terraces, the opportunity to eat breakfast with a beautiful view is priceless. The owners were VERY helpful and organised a place for us to store our two SUP boards by the beach. We didn't have to move or pump them up every day. THANKS On-site parking. A place worth recommending."

"We were on Mahe for the first time and wanted a separate house in the middle of the island to make it convenient to see as many locations as possible, the tropical garden was perfect. The house itself is not big and very cozy, there is parking for a small car, Wi-Fi works perfectly, beautiful terrace, breakfast and dinner with birdsong and the sound of water)) a lot of greenery. Very nice and good-natured hostess, she solved any issues that arose very quickly. Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation❤️."
