"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. "This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"My room was wonderful, airy, comfortable, clean with touches of local culture. Kevin was an excellent host, always cheerful, smiling, helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious. The verandas are perfect. It was a great opportunity to stay amidst the local indigenous culture."

Ich persönlich bin kein Freund von Gemeinschaftsbad und -küche (war aber unmissverständlich so deklariert ;-) ).

"Very personal stay. The owner is a bee keeper and I loved seeing the bees home. The bees didn't bother me or my dog at all. Close to shops and cafes."

"Hosts were super friendly, very helpful and kind. Silvio gave me a ride back to airport when I arrived and needed to pick up my partner (we traveled separately there). The house and the room were nice and clean, huge fridge and well equipped kitchen for the guests to use. Netflix with guest account in the room was a nice extra. Big terrace with sunbeds. The location itself was lovely, locals were friendly and helpful as well. Airport is very close, 40 mins walk or 6 mins with the car."

I know it's not the hosts fault, because there was an issue with the pool due the construction works in the neighborhood the time we're staying there and we couldn't use it. Would have been nice, because the pool itself is pretty big.
