"Absolutely loved my stay here! The ambiance is so serene! It's nice and quiet at night so you'll sleep peacefully. Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. Thank you so much for having! I'll definitely be back"

"The host was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Hostel was close to the center. It was a pleasure to enjoy peacefulness here. Bed was good to sleep. "The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

The walls were thin and it was far from the center.

"Το προσωπικό ήταν ευχάριστο και πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Μπορούσαμε να αφήσουμε τις αποσκευές μας στο hostel και πριν το check-in και μετά το check -out χωρίς έξτρα χρεώσεις. Γενικά ήταν καθαρά, ασφαλή και δεν μας αντιμετωπίσαμε κανένα πρόβλημα."

Περιμέναμε να έχει φούρνο και εστίες στην κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, αλλά είχε μόνο δύο φούρνους μικροκυμάτων, οι οποίοι έτυχε να χαλάσουν (από λάθος επισκεπτών). Οπότε όσο μείναμε δεν μπορούσαμε να ζεστάνουμε κάπου φαγητό.

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

"You get your own private (albeit tiny) cabin, clean toilets and the staff was helpful and friendly. Quiet location"

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night

There wasn't any lift in the property and if you get a room on the 3rd or the 4th floor, you have to take the staircase only.

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

My fault choose the yurt room because I always pee in the night and the toilet in the main house. The location far from the city, if u wanna a quite place and for long stay, its recomended.

"Το hostel βρίσκεται δίπλα στον κεντρικό σταθμό της πόλης, που σε αντίθεση με άλλες πόλεις, είναι πολύ καλή περιοχή. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευχάριστο, ευγενέστατο και μου έδωσαν συμβουλές και πληροφορίες για την πόλη! Οι χώροι πολύ άνετοι, φανταστικό design με vintage αισθητική, χωρίς να μοιάζει παλιακό! Πεντακάθαρο!"

Δεν θα έγραφα κάτι αρνητικό, αλλά αν πρέπει, θα πω ότι δεν μου άρεσε που η sauna έκλεινε στις 21:00. Θα ήθελα να μπορώ να γυρίσω το βράδυ και να έχω την ευκαιρία να κάνω ένα ντους, μετά να μπω στην σάουνα και μετά να πάω για ύπνο. Βέβαια, αυτό έχει να κάνει και με τις ώρες κοινής ησυχίας, οπότε δεν θα το βάλω σαν αρνητικό!

"Ηταν πολύ κοντά στην παλιά πόλη με τα πόδια, ήταν οργανωμένο και περιποιημένο παρά την πολύ χαμηλή του τιμή. Το βρήκαμε εύκολα και φτάσαμε μέσα σε 30’ από το αεροδρόμιο στις 12 το βράδυ με το βασικό εισιτήριο λεωφορείου που είναι πάμφθηνο"

Πραγματικά δεν ξέρω εάν έχω το δικαίωμα να παραπονεθώ δεδομένης της χαμηλής τιμής που πληρώσαμε, ωστόσο η καθαριότητα θα μπορούσε να έχει γίνει πιο προσεκτικά ( Δεν Ήταν βρώμικα απλά θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο καθαρά) και να υπήρχε μία επιπλέον κουβέρτα γιατί ένα βράδυ κρύωνα. Επίσης δεν υπήρχαν σαμπουάν στο δωμάτιο, αν και μου είπαν ότι μπορώ να ζητήσω από την ρεσεψιόν. Έτυχε να έχω μαζί μου και δεν ζήτησα, αλλά θα ήταν καλό να υπήρχε έτσι κι αλλιώς στο δωμάτιο.

There was no one there when I arrived and no one replied on WhatsApp. I stayed in the living room from 7am to 11am waiting for something to happen when I actually had messaged the owner days before to say I would arrive early and if I could do early check in. Fortunately the lady working there appeared and allowed me to take a bed before check in time around midday! Very kind !

"Good location, within walking distance of town but far from tourist crowds. Full kitchen facilities and equipment for self catering. Many restaurants nearby especially Peanuts restaurant for good local food. Supermarket is nearby. Very friendly hosts! Good overall value for Aruba. There weren't that many guests in the dorm when I stayed so it was almost like having private space."

"It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.

No curtains on the bed. I also was charged twice for my stay here a long time after I left which was disappointing to see but I did get refunded.
