"Well located for the main sights. 12 - 15 minute walk to the Hallgrimsonkirkja. Lovely set breakfast ( ham, cheese, granola, yoghurt, brown bread, boiled egg, tea/coffee). Very helpful staff. Good sized double room. Good value for Reykjavik."

"A good Icelandic style breakfast, well presented by very polite staff. The Hotel was spotlessly clean, we could not fault it in anyway. It was well placed in a location near to central areas, which you could walk to or use a taxi or buses, it was very peaceful. We would recommend 100% to anyone."

"Hotel Phoenix is at a terrific location, a small walking distance (or bus transfer) from the best sites in Reykjavik! I didn't have to go very far and the hotel staff gave good advice on restaurants and sightseeing. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!"

They provided me with all kinds of information about Iceland, along with advice on excursions, transport, and even what time I should arrive at the airport to avoid being late for my flight (and it was an excellent advice as I understood after coming to the airport!). The breakfast was always fresh and delicious, and the room facilities were perfect and thoughtfully arranged. I’m sincerely happy that I chose this hotel for my stay in Reykjavik."
