"Our stay in this beautiful hotel was fantastic, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff attention to detail was impressive."
"Pool could have been cleaner"
"Beds were hugely comfortable and the quadruple room was large and good for twin beds for friends."
"Very little! The water didn’t seem drinkable when smelling it in the shower and as a food allergy person that was difficult communicating even though they understood I had them."
"Staff were excellent. The manager was very accommodating and friendly. There was a mixup with our booking, but he got to the bottom of it very quickly."
"Only criticism would be the pool. I think it needs a refresh / clean."
"A fabulous hotel, just by the lake. Slightly away from the hustle of Kandy but still an easy walk to the centre. All of the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our family room was very nice - good decor with very comfy beds and great bathrooms. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good."

"The location was very good, within walking distance of the main sights in Kandy. The staff that worked in the restaurant were very friendly and service was good."
"They did not provide daily water in the room, instead this had to be requested. The food was also a little dissapointing, and I'd have preferred more local dishes."
"Serene atmosphere, helpful staff, lovely breakfast"
"Noise from neighbouring hotel can be a bit disruptive."
"Our stay was wonderful. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. On our last night we were surprised with dinner from the hotel, and it was honestly the best curry we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place."

"Posizione fantastica in mezzo alla natura scoiattoli che saltano sul terrazzo e a volte anche scimmie e pavoni, esperienza unica, un po’ più nell’entro terra ma va benissimo, era quello che cercavo"

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"
