"Clean bedding, tidy room with AC, decent shower. Few ants in room (had to leave ice cream wrappers on table as no bin) but overall good value for money."

"Only a 10-minute drive to Galle city with easy access. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Very good parking facilities and comfortable rooms with balconies for all our rooms. A nice, clean place—perfect for a relaxing stay."

"Worth for money, the rooms upstairs had decent ventilation and privacy. Most rooms were equipped with 2+1 beds. Spacious. Clean. Private balconies."

"Keep in mind it's a budget hotel, but here are a few possible improvements. Bigger piece of soap or installation of a shower gel+shampoo in the wall. Facilities to make tea/coffee (kettle + mug/cups/spoons+ sachets) for those of us who want it frequently. Some form of mosquito control. (they can slip in through the grills if the light is switched on at night.) Maybe meshes on the grills? Sound proofing, for light sleepers. Location is bit away from city centre, so better if you have your own vehicle."

One of the highlights was dining at the restaurant, which faces the ocean—enjoying meals with a view of the waves was a memorable experience. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. While the rooms were fairly average, they were clean and offered good value for the price. "Bright, clean, staff welcoming and helpful. Slightly set back from the main road, which meant noise was not a problem. The pool was refreshing and the seating around it was good as it allowed conversation between guests, which enhanced our one night stay. Lots of local restaurants and good stretch of beach, with great sunset. We used it as a one night before our return home after a 2 week holiday, whereas others were here for a week - would definitely recommend"
