"Pension TUPUNA is a fantastic place with very friendly people. The ocean is literally on your doorstep so you couldn't ask for more. We did feel very safe there, even when we left all windows open for the whole day. The breakfasts were typically french/Polynesian - lots of fresh fruit, baguette, jam, coffee, some eggs if you need (extra paid)."

"The wifi coverage could be better, because in order to get to the internet we had to connect in another bungalow and unfortunately it didn't work well in ours."

"We loved the room with the view over the lagoon. It felt rustic and very authentic. It’s in a jungle like setting with lots of lush trees and shrubs. The breakfast of fruits, bread and jam was also very tasty and we also enjoyed the dinner served in the restaurant there. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely too. Special thanks to Rose!"

"It was quite remote and there was nothing nearby. I would definitely advise hiring a car, especially if you want to explore the island and to eat out."

"It was a pleasure to stay at this place. The bungalow (espacially the terrace) was nice to stay and observe the crabs hiding in there holes. You are really in the nature with a lot of plants around. In the evening they serve a dinner which was delicious."

"The place is not close to the village so you need some motoriced vehicel to come around the island. You can not swim in the sea in fromt of the accomodation, but kayaks can be used free of charge."

"The presentation pictures of the accomodation, although beautiful, don’t do enough justice to the guest house. An extremely balanced mix of authentic touch with modern amenities. You have to be well aware that coming to Huahine means embracing the nature and the local vibe. Franck has been extremely lovely and helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this stay to people who understand and embrace the rustic vibe and that want to have a authentic island experience."

"Si vous cherchez une déconnexion totale au milieu de la nature, vous êtes au bon endroit. Bungalow charmant, dans son jus, au calme. L'essentiel est là. Personnel très gentil."

"De quoi étendre le linge à l'intérieur serait appréciable quand il pleut... Wifi disponible uniquement dans le fare pote commun, pas dans les bungalows. Dommage de facturer un supplément pour se servir des kayaks... Nécessité d'avoir un véhicule car pension isolée."
