"Patricia (host) was wonderful. She was at the flat when we arrived. Patricia took time to explain the keys, locks, facilities, etc. She then spent time with us and a map to point out where local famous points were, and things we miight like to see. She even pointed out the local supermarket, coffee shop, and bar. The flat was extremely clean, with all facilities. The flat is quite high up so the views are absolutely stunning, and it’s beautiful overlooking the river at night."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
