At that price I expected a ceiling fan ,especially with the high humidity, and a hot shower , even under a black solar bag . And a linen change should have happened, after a few hot and humid nights , the sheets become greasy and unpleasant to sleep on .

주변에 식당이없다보니 골드카드로 갔는데 식사를 그나마 괜찮은건 마젤란이었는데 3박동안 가려니 너무 질리더라구요 사이판pic처럼 좀더 다양한 레스토랑이 있었으면 좋겠어요

Βγήκαμε στη βεράντα του εστιατορίου και δυστυχώς ανακαλύψαμε ότι σπάνια την καθαρίζει κάποιος....

"A fun and colourful resort close to Grenada airport. We stayed here for a few nights at the start of our trip to Grenada and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable; it had nice doors out with direct pool access and even had a small kitchenette. The grounds of the hotel are well thought out and it's nice to have the choice of pools, each with different views and vibes! The restaurant is great and we had some delicious meals, "Street Food Wednesday" was a highlight of our trip! There was also a wide range of tours and activities; we did a full island tour which was really worth it."

There are limited amenities near this hotel - other than the university, there is no town/restaurants/beach to walk to. The hotel was great and organizing taxis however and there is a free shuttle to the beach!

It is slight expensive and the restaurant don't have paper menu. Please tell them to have menu on the table or present it when asked.

Breakfast selection was mediocre. Some small spa or sauna area would create extra value.

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.

Couldn’t find any ramp which could be wheel chair friendly. A ramp could be introduced for ease of moving luggage’s and for elderly people.

"Μας αναβάθμισαν σε μικρή σουίτα και ήταν υπέροχο το δωμάτιο και οι παροχές του. Ωραία θέα από τον 6ο όροφο, ήσυχο δωμάτιο, ό,τι πρέπει για χαλάρωση και ξεκούραση σε συνδυασμό με τις πισίνες και τις σάουνες. Πλούσιος ο μπουφές του πρωινού και του δείπνου. Ευγενικό το προσωπικό στην κεντρική ρεσεψιόν και το εστιατόριο."

Μας είχαν ψευδώς ενημερώσει γραπτά ότι τα μασάζ και το beauty περιλαμβάνονταν στην τιμή. Το προσωπικό είδε το μήνυμα αλλά είπε ότι δεν ισχύει και πρέπει να πληρώσουμε έξτρα. Επίσης μας είπε ότι έχουμε δίκιο, ότι όντως ήταν παραπλανητικό το μήνυμά τους, αλλά το μόνο που μπορούσαν να κάνουν ήταν να μας δώσουν δωρεάν μασάζ ΜΟΝΟ ΓΙΑ ΤΟΝ 1 ΑΠΟ ΤΟΥΣ 2. Τελικά ούτε rv είχαν διαθέσιμα για να μας εξυπηρετήσουν και φύγαμε χωρίς να έχουμε καμιά από αυτές τις παροχές που θέλαμε. Αν το ξέραμε, δε θα επιλέγαμε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο, θα πηγαίναμε να μείνουμε στο κέντρο και να μην κάνουμε 1 ώρα καθημερινά για να φτάσουμε στα αξιοθέατα. Ο κύριος στην κεντρική ρεσεψιόν που άκουσε τα παράπονά μας ήταν ευγενικός, οι γυναίκες στο spa reception ήταν τόσο ξινές!

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

Too many kids - weather was a bit rainy so they were mostly inside...

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.
