"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).

"The hotel is located very close to the beach, you can also use the outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool is especially nice when the weather is colder. The price also includes a nice wellness. It is great to have the option to buy lunch and dinner. All the food was excellent."

"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

Ωραία θέα από τον 6ο όροφο, ήσυχο δωμάτιο, ό,τι πρέπει για χαλάρωση και ξεκούραση σε συνδυασμό με τις πισίνες και τις σάουνες. Πλούσιος ο μπουφές του πρωινού και του δείπνου. Ευγενικό το προσωπικό στην κεντρική ρεσεψιόν και το εστιατόριο."

Μας είχαν ψευδώς ενημερώσει γραπτά ότι τα μασάζ και το beauty περιλαμβάνονταν στην τιμή. Το προσωπικό είδε το μήνυμα αλλά είπε ότι δεν ισχύει και πρέπει να πληρώσουμε έξτρα. Επίσης μας είπε ότι έχουμε δίκιο, ότι όντως ήταν παραπλανητικό το μήνυμά τους, αλλά το μόνο που μπορούσαν να κάνουν ήταν να μας δώσουν δωρεάν μασάζ ΜΟΝΟ ΓΙΑ ΤΟΝ 1 ΑΠΟ ΤΟΥΣ 2. Τελικά ούτε rv είχαν διαθέσιμα για να μας εξυπηρετήσουν και φύγαμε χωρίς να έχουμε καμιά από αυτές τις παροχές που θέλαμε. Αν το ξέραμε, δε θα επιλέγαμε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο, θα πηγαίναμε να μείνουμε στο κέντρο και να μην κάνουμε 1 ώρα καθημερινά για να φτάσουμε στα αξιοθέατα. Ο κύριος στην κεντρική ρεσεψιόν που άκουσε τα παράπονά μας ήταν ευγενικός, οι γυναίκες στο spa reception ήταν τόσο ξινές!

"A good hotel with a decent and tasty breakfast served in an interestingly located restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's pleasantly cool in summer even during the heat, although there's no air conditioning. A special highlight is the mountain river flowing nearby — you can hear its sound at night. The location is truly excellent, especially convenient because the free shuttle bus stop is right next to the hotel. In the pool, the water is very warm, but it was impossible to use it — all the spots around the pool were constantly occupied."

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."
