"Having to leave"

"The location was fantastic and the staff also great. It was very good value for money all things considered. We loved the restaurant and the variety of food and the general relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The beach itself was lovely and plenty of room even with day trip visitors and a great place to just walk down and snorkel."

"The driveway was steep if customers were able to park at the bottom that would be convenient however maybe not possible due to the nature of the location and limited parking availability. The only other thing would be we were hoping for beach huts however maybe I could of made that more clear."

"Wonderful location. Very nice balcony attached to the room, even though it was completely shared with another room (it was possible to enter directly). Clean room. Air conditioning. Services offered for a fee and not included with the room, such as taxi, massages, laundry, restaurant, etc. The hotel restaurant is good, although a bit expensive. The cheeseburger is not recommended because the cheese was “gummy.” Very pleasant and lively atmosphere; I really appreciated the choice of international background music in the restaurant."

"Even though they themselves had sent messages in the Booking chat, they NEVER read the important requests I sent more than two weeks before arrival. This caused inconvenience and a much higher taxi cost for the outbound trip, even though it was a service they offered. They only replied to my messages shortly before check-out, when there was no longer any need. Also, when we arrived at the hotel, we were asked to wait until 11:00 for check-in because the room was not ready (despite my request through Booking, which was not taken into consideration for the reasons mentioned above). We therefore went to have breakfast at their restaurant, but at 10:00, even though we were still eating, they insisted that we leave everything there to take us to the room. Despite my request to wait until I finished my meal, they demanded that we follow them immediately, saying they had other things to do and could not wait. They were rather rude and insistent; above all, it is absurd that they expected me to leave my plate unattended or even throw away food I had paid for while calmly waiting for the room. Dirty glass in the bathroom. They do not provide small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Ceiling fan that squeaks and moves too much; it feels like it could come loose at any moment. The toilet in the bathroom had a bad smell. Steep staircase to reach the room."

"Wow. We absolutely loved it here! The staff are incredible, the rooms are somewhat basic but definitely have everything you need and the food is absolutely incredible. It was such a relaxing place to stay and had a real family/community vibe to it. The dive school next door is wonderful too so I definitely recommend staying here and going diving."

"The staff was lovely, super nice. We asked to change rooms since the first room was very dirty and we were unhappy with it. There was no discussion, we could change right away and our towels and bedsheets were changed as they were dirty (they apparently send their bedsheets and towels to another place to clean). The other room was way better. We had a great view on the sea and could open the windows as there were nets against mosquitoes installed. At first I was really unhappy however when they changed and cleaned our room and were so nice with us, everything was good. The sea is absolutely stunning! So many fishes to see and it’s right in front! After the adjustments I would definitely come again! Make sure to ask for the transfer from the hotel."

"The AC is mouldy, in both rooms we checked. It is not very clean, a lot of dust on the shelves, under the bed and just the general state. The towels before we asked to change them were really dirty, same for the bedsheets. However the staff does help in every way they can. The taxi from the pier is 500 baht to the hotel, it is quite steep. On the way back we took a transfer from the hotel which has fixed times and was only 100 baht!"

"Paradise on Koh Tao. Not a luxurious hotel but with real island vibes. If You want a couple of days to relax, eat and drink tasty food and snorkel this is the place for You. If You are looking for drinking and partying better stay on the other side of the island."

"Loved our time at the resort. We kept extending our stay here. Right on the beach with a really cute rustic beach shack vibes. Quiet, good air con and cute balcony. Staff were awesome, friendly and helpful. It's out of town with some steep hills on scooter something to be aware of, but not an issue for us at all. I really loved the vibe of this place. Good restaurant with plenty of options on menu also. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend."

"Simply the most beautiful beach ever we have been at Koh Tao, the resort and the hospitality of the management and the owner of the restaurant and Resort was beyond my expectation. We actually found a friend there and we will definitely go back. The beach is beautiful, especially under Water Marin life is spectacular for filming clean Water. The food at restaurant is just delicious. Staff are very kind and very friendly"
