"The location is fine – a bit far from the city center if you walk, but it is easy to get a taxi nearby. The owner was friendly and welcoming, which was a nice plus. The hotel is also budget-friendly, so the price is reasonable."

"There is no elevator, which can be inconvenient, especially since the breakfast is in the basement. The breakfast was not very good and did not seem fresh. The rooms did not feel very clean, as the cleaning seemed quite basic. Also, the rest of the staff were not very friendly."

"Our stay at Berlik Apart Hotel from September 8th to 14th was awful. We had two bookings: one for three people from the 8th to 11th and another for two people from the 11th to 18th, as my brother was leaving early. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare. Early Check-In Scam Before arriving, we confirmed an early check-in for September 8th, but when we arrived, they charged us an unexpected 50 euros, despite no mention of this in our communication. It felt like we were being scammed from the start. Demand for Full Payment On September 9th, the hotel’s young son rudely forced us to pay upfront for both reservations, even though they should have been handled separately. They also made us pay the 50-euro early check-in fee again. No Soundproofing The room was far from soundproof. We could hear other guests talking constantly, and a woman was crying regularly, which added to an uncomfortable and eerie atmosphere. Dishonest Management When my brother left early, we tried to cancel our second booking. The father (who only speaks Turkish) agreed to a refund minus a 12% fee. However, the son (who spoke English) tried to charge us a 20% fee. When I mentioned I understood Turkish and knew what the father had said, the son was shocked and refused to refund anything. Forced to Stay We were forced to stay and eventually left early on September 14th, incurring extra costs to change our flights. Avoid this place if you can!"

"It's in a local area with local food and tea places just walking distance. Not close to the main city but we didn't mind the walk to the touristy places. The owner is a really nice person which is why we stayed."

"The place is very old and small. The toilet was under the shower, place is falling apart but is clean. If you're okay with an extreme budget you'll be fine. The area seemed scary at first but nothing really happened. Just walk through the main area going towards the city don't take back end short cuts."

"I had a great welcome. I came in, in The middle of the night and I was extremely tired. They took care of me very well. The room was clean, clean sheets and there was a cleaner everyday. I also had a window which was very nice. They took care of everything that you needed. There was a barber shop attached to the hotel. A laundry service 10 meters away. There was an outstanding breakfast for only 100 lira. There is coffee, tea, and all sorts of drink during the day(payment of course). Very friendly staff and the hotel is very safe."
