"Large very well appointed apartment in Block Altmore A. Bedroom looking, which was lovely looking out onto Table Mountain and living room to the canal and city. Felt very secure and a short walk to the Waterfront and V&A. Everything you needed in the kitchen and both washing machines and tumble dryer which we didn’t use but good to have. Good balcony to the front with table and chairs, balcony off the bedroom balcony overlooking Road and mountain. Daily cleaning (our gin disappeared 🤣). Very strongly advised that any noise after 10.00 would result in a fine. We are in our mid 60’s and don’t want to party but do like to listen to music which we felt we shouldn’t. Loud continual drilling started before 9.00am which I know won’t go on forever but you certainly don’t need an alarm and took away from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Also this apartment had a very safe secure parking space included which we needed. Great place to stay"

"There is a kitchen where I was able to prepare my own meals. All the facilities are included e.g a cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave etc It was a home from home apartment which was to my liking and style. The host Marcia is excellent and extremely helpful. I would describe her as a problem solver and very knowledgeable. Including Yolanda who does the day to day Management of the accommodation . She is always helpful and very friendly no matter how busy her day is . I have recently extended my stay for a further 18 days as I am very happy staying here whilst visiting friends and overseeing some renovation work on my own property."

Due to the fact that we are on a main Road there is ongoing traffic and the noise can sometimes be a bit loud from the music boxes the cars and taxi drivers have in their vehicles. There is no noise control on vehicles in Guyana. However, after a time you get use to it.

"Gorgeous view of Treichville. Thoughtful renovations, like a luxury hotel. The kitchenette was adequate and I appreciated the complimentary bottles of water. Hot showers and air conditioning. Great location in the centre of Plateau but note that the neighbourhood is deserted after sunset and on weekends. Still, I felt safe because of the security guards around important buildings."

Only one functioning elevator. Location and elevator can be difficult to find. Check-in instructions could be more descriptive. There are no signs for the apartment suites on the ground floor. The elevator is on the right passage as you walk inside the building. The reception is on the 14th floor.

Η περιοχή κάπως περίεργη, αλλά νύχτα δεν κυκλοφορούσα πάρα μόνο με ταξί, οπότε όλα καλά. Το μόνο που έχω να προτείνω αλλαγή στα κουφώματα.

"Absolutely lovely property! The staff cannot do enough for you! Friendly and go out of their way to help you. Great location 10 minute walk from rockley beach and right by many places to eat. I felt safe as a solo female in the property. It was also quiet and the pool was well maintained."

"View stunning, apartment a very generous size and well appointed. Track by the lake closed due to waste water upgrades but no fault of the apartments as affects all properties. Sophia was so welcoming on reception and looked after our bags till check in time and on day of check out."

Ανυπόφορος θόρυβος τη νύχτα, εξαιτίας νεανικού club που λειτουργεί από κάτω. Χρειάζεται επειγόντως ισχυρή ηχομόνωση για περιορισμό του προβλήματος.

Το δωμάτιο θα ήθελε ένα φρεσκαρισμα (επισκευή των φωτιστικών που δεν δουλεύουν, μιας πρίζας που κουνιόταν και του εξαερισμού στο μπάνιο που δεν δούλευε)

"Καταπληκτικό διαμέρισμα ψηλά με θέα 180° στην θάλασσα, ανετο και πολυ καλα σχεδιασμένο με όμορφο μπαλκόνι και άνετη αυλή με μπάρμπεκιου , μπορουσαμε να χαλαρώσουμε τα πρωινα παρατηρωντας τις φάλαινες που κανανε άλματα μέσα από την θάλασσα ."

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious and it is so nice to have a serviced apartment. The location is very good, the train and buses are a 5 minute walk and you are surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket closeby and it is a very short walk to views over the harbour. I would highly recommend this hotel."

A very minor thing, the cups are so small for having a tea or coffee!

The only point to note is that not all the suites in this category have a view over Gyeongbokgung Palace - when we wrote before our trip to double check, we were told that most of those suites are booked by long-term guests, and when we arrived there were indeed no suites with a palace view available. However, our suite had a great city view, including Namsan Tower and a view directly over Jogyesa Temple. We also got to enjoy sunrise every morning from our room, so for a winter stay it was very nice. The hotel also kindly stored a suitcase for us for a few days after we checked out. Great location, highly recommend."

Location was far from the main tourist centers in Nungwi and stone town. Suggest getting a car if you are there - lucky we had one. Otherwise great stay!
