There wasn't a shelter, or at least it was not clearly marked. Lower lighting during the night to allow stargazing would have been nice.

Mamie Arlette est extrêmement à l’écoute et chaleureuse, ce qui rend l’accueil encore plus agréable. Bon à savoir , possibilité de manger sur place pour 35 euros par personne"

Small points could get better maintenance in the bungalow. But was quite good.

"The campsite has an astonishing view of the lake Manyara and the national park. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The unique igloos have a pleasant interior atmosphere and are comfortable to sleep in. The campsite is ideally located for visiting the various national parks in the region. "Khulan was super helpful, professional and spoke good English. Her advice and organisation was excellent. It was friendly, relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Turtle rock was a good hike that took about 4.5hrs there and back, but hiking anywhere in the national park was spectacular. Luckily the weather was sunny and warm. Visiting the Chinggis Khaan Statue on the way from Ulaanbaatar prior to check-in worked well."

"The compound is very cosy with lots of fireplaces and areas to play and chill. Although there where a lot of guests the last night we barely noticed them. The outdoor kitchen is very pleasant to use and the showers and toilets where comfortable. We are fond of the place, very easy going, close to nature and basic with a comfort-plus."

We felt lucky we brought our own chairs. The chairs available where great to use for sitting at the table and for eating but not for chilling at the fire pit. The beds where hard. I didn't mind but I can imagine some people don't like a hard matras.

"My friend and I stayed here in October for a few nights. It was lovely. We were upgraded to a really nice safari type tent room which was very cool / cosy. The whole place had such a nice, peaceful vibe. The staff were great - so helpful, especially Amos, Diana and Thomas. Highly recommend staying here"

"The guesthouse is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people especially when we are the only one in the guesthouse. The hosts are welcoming and despite the language barrier, I could feel the warmth that they offer."
