"The owners were delightful. Spoke good English and were very friendly. Furthermore we arrived in the evening after dark having been completely misled and overcharged by a taxi driver. They intervened, argued our case and came to a reasonable settlement. Such help was hugely appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and excellent value for an overnight stop en route to Samarkand."
