"We chose buellsPort as the first stop on our Namibia round trip and really enjoyed it. We didn’t expect too much but really loved the food. Both nights we got served a multi-course home cooked meal utilising game meat and local vegetables. The private hiking paths are really well maintained and set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoyed the drive towards sossusvlei from buellsport which is in much better condition than the standard tourist route."

"The staff at the facility and the restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The natural surroundings around the bungalows are beautiful, with plenty of water drinking points nearby. The toilets were clean and well-maintained. The Korana River is easily accessible, and the dog was able to roam freely and play around."

There is no option for a large bed for two people to sleep together. A useful addition would be a small lamp in the room along with mosquito nets on the windows and doors.

"Love Victor and the wife. They treated us like a family. The place is very cosy. The room has a roof window and nice yard to play the snow."

Getting to the location is difficult during winter. Car couldn’t go in so we had to lug through our luggages through the snow. But it was worth it! 😊

"La ubicacion es fantastica, increible ver el cielo con un sinfin de estrellas. Muy amable tambien el dueño y lo mejor es que el check out es despues de las 10."

Lo unico es un poco dificil el acceso con el auto si te tocan los glamping de mas arriba, sugeriria marcar mejor los caminos y cortar un poco las plantas de los costados, igual se entiende que este así para darle un aspecto mas natural, pero se complica a la hora de manejar.

"Fantastic, staff was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Campsite clean, room of high standards. Bed so very comfortable. Lovely touches with the dog box and welcome tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits! Fantastic stay can’t wait to go back."

Crow scarers in local fields unsettled our dog but that wasn’t the fault of the camp site. This comment is just to let visitors know incase they have a nervous dog.

"A special self sufficient cottage for two. Very clean and a helpful owner."

"Отличная обстановка. Домики стоят квадратом, а в центре - беседки и детская площадка с батутом и качелями. В домиках туалет с душем и холодильник. Есть общая большая кухня со всем необходимым (чайники, микроволновка, плиты, вся нужная посуда, причем как среднего размера, так и большая, мы готовили с комфортом на 8 человек). Очень удивило, что к мангалам, которые возле беседки, на кухне есть шампура и решетки для гриля. Хозяева - это отдельная тема, всё время рядом, ОЧЕНЬ приветливые и отзывчивые, помогают с любой проблемой."

Отдых был немного испорчен холодными ночами. Домики летние, ночью было немногим теплее, чем на улице. Так, что или ориентироваться нужно на теплые ночи, или с собой одежду потеплее.

"Nicely maintained park-like surroundings. Peaceful and quiet location. Barbecue facilities (you must bring all necessary items, no services within walking distance)."

The receptionist did not speak English, so the check-in was a bit challenging. English instructions on a printed sheet would have helped.

"Very friendly owner - she is a very hospitable and polite person. She gave us apples and grape from the garden and they were very tasty! Thanks a lot!"

Very bad internet but it was not essential for us. A bit hard to find - we got the turn from the main road on the third try and we used navigation. The turn is just in a very inconvenient location, you have to be very careful with the traffic when you go there.

"I liked how quiet it was, although the highway was closed at Roger's pass at the time. I liked the cabin very much and the beds were very comfortable! It's a very back to nature experience there! Anybody arriving wishing to check in, should call the number in front of the ark if there isn't anyone around, I spoke to a very nice lady on the phone who told me which cabin we were in and she kindly advised us what to do 🙂 we would love to stay there again one day."

"The view from the pool is absolutely stunning! It's in a great location - about 10 minutes walk from the port and the centre of town where you can find the tuk tuks. The staff were very welcoming throughout our stay and breakfast was really good! The staff were also very helpful - when they couldn't serve an early breakfast, they told us where we could go instead. They were also able to provide information for our next destination. AMEX is accepted. We'll be returning!"

Some things weren't communicated well in the beginning - like having to order breakfast the day before. They were not able to serve an early breakfast to fit with our activities for the day. The wifi doesn't work from the bedroom.

"Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience."

"Maisonnette coquette dans le Domaine de Belle Dune. Rien ne manquait pour un séjour de deux nuits. Literie très confortable."

Le linge de lit et les serviettes de toilette pourraient être compris dans le prix de location.

"Magical spot in nature with exceptional views and epic sunrise view from bed. The whole property crafted with love and creative artistic features. Loved the whole place, rustic and good quality. Having access to the beautiful pool with a view also a massive bonus. Very sad to leave, so happy to have stayed for four nights. Peter. Rocio and Santiago are exceptional hosts."

"Het was een prachtig appartement met een adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen en zee. Alles wat we nodig hadden was al in het appartement. Zelfs zeep om een wasje te doen. Ocean was super behulpzaam met alles wat wilde weten. Absolute aanrader. Wij gaan sowieso terug komen!"

"Peaceful location with a beautiful garden, spacious and comfortable rooms and very amazing hosts. They gave us tea and a bottle of their fantastic homemade lavender shampoo made from herbes harvested in the garden. It is a sustainable little paradise."

The window on the ceiling let in a little too much light, but this is only a problem on the bed below it (and it heats up the room very well during the day - which is crucial due to the cold nights).
