"The pool was small but refreshing. The hotel area was lovely. The service was friendly and helpful. The room was big. The location was with a nice view on the river and only maximum 5 walking minutes to the main square."

"The AC in the room was not working so there was only a small alternative portable AC next to the bed. The installation was just with tape in the window so warm air from the outside was coming in the room. The restaurant next to the hotel "El faro" is horrible."

"This place felt like a real bargain compared to the jungle trips my other friends took (came to Peru for a wedding but split off after for different jungle adventures). Well worth the money for the 4d/3n Wild Tambopata experience. The cabins are F'ing brilliant and I absolutely loved sleeping the sound of the jungle. Really good value for money. It's cheaper through here than the website we ended up paying $332usd total each for the 3 nights all inclusive with the package for 'Wild Tambopata' which was I think $375 total through their site. But the site has better details to understand what's going on."

"The advertisement on here was a bit confusing to look at but it's a bit more clear when you look at the Ecolucerna website. I still booked 3 nights all inclusive through here as it had a discount then they messaged me through WhatsApp to select the package options. I don't recommend going with the Claylick McCaws package as you have to switch accommodations halfway through which they don't make clear. This is because their distance to the McCaws is too far to get there in time. However the Wild Tambopata experience was superb value for money and I would happily stay here again."

"I had the privilege of coming here during the rain season and I was the only guest there (didn't even rain during the days!). The property is gorgeous, the staff is super nice and very accommodating. They have some rescue animals there that you can interact with, that was by far my favourite part!"

"Emanuel is kind, considerate, great at communicating (sometimes assisted by his son) and very helpful. He informed us of tours, provided water and made delicious meals that were 36 soles per person. There are no supermarkets nearby so if you want to make your own meals suggest stopping by the market before checking in. It was 40 soles from the airport to his home. The room is clean, comfortable and the surrounding is peaceful, a homestay type experience. We joined the evening sunset boat through the Tambopata river and the day Sandoval lake experience. Thank you!"
