Floating B&B Amsterdam

"Η οικοδέσποινα ήταν εξαιρετική και πολύ φιλική. Κατευθείαν νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας !! Η τοποθεσία είναι γύρω στα 50 λεπτά από το Άμστερνταμ ( με τα ΜΜΜ και 20 λεπτά περπάτημα) ,αλλά το μέρος αξίζει την απόσταση. Ήταν καθαρά και οργανωμένα ολα.Θα το ξανα-προτιμούσαμε σίγουρα για τις διακοπές μας !!"

"It is a lovely tiny boat in a very quiet part of Amsterdam, public transport is near. Good, comfortable bed, good heating. Most lovely host who helped me in a complicated situation."

"We so loved the quietness, living on a boat for 5 days and Annelieke's support and friendliness which we really appreciated.The local people and people in the city were also very friendly and helpful. We were delighted after finding out that the public transport is very regular and we could travel into the city centre in 20 mins or so; buying an inclusive ticket at the central station was a great help. There is a supermarket within a few hundred yards/metres. Annelieke lent us a bicycle each, which I loved riding. It was a lovely break away in a beautiful location and we would be very happy to return. Thank you so much Annelieke for making us feel so welcome."

"It isnt something we disliked but there was a 1-2 foot step down over the water from the jetty to the boat, which we negotiated fairly easily as we are not unfit."

"Very freindly host . Even gave us two little bottles of beer in fridge. There were two bikes we could use. Getting into town was easy . Either by tram or bus not too far away. We used uber taxis which was about €15 one way . The boat itself was very homely, and we had a great nights sleep each night, bed was very comfy. We would use it again for sure."

"- super-duper friendly hostess - cold local beer in the fridge - tasty chocolate eggs - bicycles included - nice surroundings and nature - cozy boat - interesting villages with beautiful places nearby - close to the supermarket with a cafe - the boat was very clean, well-prepared - nice 80s volvo design of the interior - special bonus - radio tape recorder in the "wall" - very comfortable place to sleep - ducks in front of the windows"

"- no bus station nearby - you should be ready to spend some time to get to the centre (but this is OK if you like bicycling)"

"I had an amazing time. When I first booked, I thought I might be spending a work vacation on the boat. However, I came to the conclusion that I needed to take advantage of the opportunity to just rest and relax. I did yoga, meditation, journaling, and went on long walks and bikes. The city is easily accessible by bike, but I spent most of my time out and around the dike, where it was calm and beautiful. The boat was quite comfortable, in my opinion. I slept extremely well, and I felt safe."

"The location was wonderful with easy access to the city. It was very cosy with lots of rugs and candles. To top it all off the owners were lovely and welcoming."

"Staying in the boat means facilities like shower and toilet are different to a usual hotel. They're well-maintained and clean, but take getting used to."

"Place is cosy and quiet. You can get rest from city's crowdiness and rush. There is ducks nest behind the window and You can observe different birds in the nearest meadow. Use Your bikes and take ride further, there is nice villigage, many yachts."
