"WOW what a special place with so much history, we loved absolutely everything about our visit. The hotel was stunning, our room was huge, clean, and comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful with hot water and heaps of pressure. Lovely property gardens to walk through. Wonderful well kept and renovated property that captures the wonders of history and Portuguese culture. A petit boutique hotel lost in the valleys of the country side with enough privacy to feel comfortable but a touch of family to make it feel welcoming and warm. Lovely breakfast with fruit and homemade cake. Everything was just perfect. Would definitely recomend and return."
"It might be a tiny bit out of the way if you are considering visiting the Serra do Gerês. But I wouldn't even consider that a downside, just a way to get away from the people and the confusion."
