Hostel στην Κύπρο

"Το προσωπικό ήταν ευχάριστο και πολύ εξυπηρετικό. Μπορούσαμε να αφήσουμε τις αποσκευές μας στο hostel και πριν το check-in και μετά το check -out χωρίς έξτρα χρεώσεις. Γενικά ήταν καθαρά, ασφαλή και δεν μας αντιμετωπίσαμε κανένα πρόβλημα."

Περιμέναμε να έχει φούρνο και εστίες στην κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα, αλλά είχε μόνο δύο φούρνους μικροκυμάτων, οι οποίοι έτυχε να χαλάσουν (από λάθος επισκεπτών). Οπότε όσο μείναμε δεν μπορούσαμε να ζεστάνουμε κάπου φαγητό.

No curtains on the bed. I also was charged twice for my stay here a long time after I left which was disappointing to see but I did get refunded.

Θα μπορούσε να ήταν λίγο καλύτερα εξοπλισμένος ο χώρος. Ολισθηρό, έως και επικίνδυνο, το χαλί στο σαλόνι. Δεν είχε κάποιες πετσέτες στην κουζίνα, ούτε χαρτί κουζίνας ή χαρτοπετσέτες. Η καλωδιακή τηλεόραση δε δούλευε, γιατί το καλώδιο ήταν κομμένο/σπασμένο στην υποδοχή της τηλεόρασης. Μετά από επικονωνία με το άτομο που μας υποδέχτηκε, δεν κατέστη δυνατό να λυθεί το πρόβημα. Ο υπάλληλος εξέφρασε την επιθυμία να μας επισκεφτεί για να προσπαθήσει να το επιδιορθώσει, αλλά ήταν πολύ αργά το βράδυ και δεν ήταν πλέον απαραίτητο.

"Για την τιμή του τρομερό!!Είμασταν παρέα 6 ατόμων και είμασταν πολύ άνετα ενώ φοβόμασταν ότι θα ζοριστούμε.Πολυ καθαρό και περιποιημένο.Πολυ καλή εξυπηρέτηση και σε τέλεια τοποθεσία."

Λίγο μικρό μπάνιο το οποίο δεν ενοχλεί τόσο και οι σκάλες για το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ στενές και απότομες.

"Relatively quiet and central location. Helpful and kind staff. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety including fresh fruit like bananas, apples and oranges. Interesting events, one of them was free pancakes on a Friday night. I enjoyed my stay along with the roommates I met as mutual understanding is crucial."

The ladder for the bunk bed could be improved, maybe softer steps or an extra step on the lower part. A small investment for even better pillows would be welcome in the future.

"A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

"Good location, within walking distance of town but far from tourist crowds. Full kitchen facilities and equipment for self catering. Many restaurants nearby especially Peanuts restaurant for good local food. Supermarket is nearby. Very friendly hosts! Good overall value for Aruba. There weren't that many guests in the dorm when I stayed so it was almost like having private space."

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"Έμεινα σε αυτό το hostel και η εμπειρία μου ήταν εξαιρετική. Όλα ήταν πραγματικά τέλεια. Οι χώροι ήταν πεντακάθαροι, τόσο το δωμάτιο όσο και τα μπάνια και οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι, και φαινόταν ότι δίνουν μεγάλη προσοχή στην καθαριότητα και τη φροντίδα του χώρου. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και πάντα πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει, κάνοντάς με να νιώσω άνετα και ευπρόσδεκτη από την πρώτη στιγμή. Η ατμόσφαιρα ήταν ζεστή και φιλική, ενώ η τοποθεσία πολύ βολική. Συνολικά, ήταν μια υπέροχη διαμονή και σίγουρα θα το επέλεγα ξανά."

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

"This place is simply fabulous - clean, quiet, cozy, everything works, in a great location near night market, mall, fast food etc, easily reachable by bus, yet, some rooms face forest. It's self check-in, all information is provided timely and clearly, communication is brilliant and any questions promptly answered. One of the best place to stay ever."

There is nothing not to like. But, as you need a code to enter your room, its probably not a good idea to rush to the toilet in the middle of the night, and forgetting phone with the code in the room 😊 (didn't happen, but could 🤣). Love it here...

"Handy to bus stops and restaurants and s great bake/bread shop in front. The security is super and the people running it really nice. I like that they have soft towels and a bath mat in each room. All the extra touches to make it homey. Also there is a great laundry mat right next door. I have stayed there several times.(lol at the hostel. Not the laundry mat)"

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

Very basic. I had a room to myself, but if I had to share, it'd be very cramped. Power outlet wasn't near the beds.
